If you are lucky enough to have a converted campervan, then now is the time to start thinking about where to go in 2015. Here are a few events happening throughout the UK that would make a great converted campervan holiday.
Volksfest Wales – 31st July to 2nd August
As Cascade Cotnversions are based in Wales, we had to put this one at the top. Volksfest Wales is a full weekend of VW campervan celebrations. It is family friendly and includes a day out to Porthcawl on the Saturday. It is always great fun and you will see a lot of different campervans.
Severn Bore 21st March 2015
As many campervan owners are also keen surfers then why not head to one of the UK’s most spectacular natural phenomenons and ride the Severn Bore. Winter wetsuits are a must. The tidal bore happens several times a year. The environment agency and many surf websites publish the best times to go and ride the wave along the river.
Cheese Rolling Festival 25th May 2015
A traditonal annual event of complete lunacy happens at Coopers Hill in Gloucestershire each year. It is well worth a trip to either take part or watch the cheese rolling in action.
Hastings Pirate Day – 26th July 2015
There is plenty to see and do along the South coast and lots of different places to park your converted campervan for the night. However, one of the highlights of the year is the Hastings Pirate Day. Take your eye patch and parrot and join in as the normally quiet town goes pirate crazy.
Boardmasters Surf, Skate and Music Festival – 5th to 9th August 2015
A trip to Newquay in a converted campervan is like a pilgramage for many campervan owners. What better time to go than during this amazing festival, when you experience the biggest surf and music festival in the UK?
Newquay Fish Festival 11th to 13th September 2015
If the Boardmasters Festival isn’t your thing, then why not head to Newquay for the Newquay Fish Festival, where you can sample all sorts of fresh delights cooked up by some of the top chefs in the country.
