What You Don't Want To Forget In Your Converted Campervan

When you go on your converted campervan holiday there are a few must-have items that you should always keep stowed away, just in case. There are lots of small things that can make a big difference that you can keep in your campervan, without them taking up too much space.

Here are a few ideas of items to keep in your converted campervan, so you don’t forget them on your next trip.

Tool kit

A few basic tools can save a lot of bother when you are away. If something needs fixing in your campervan, or any of your other equipment then you can fix it quickly and stop any damage getting worse.

Blankets

Stash away a couple of extra spare blankets in case of cold nights or unexpected visitors. If you have a campervan conversion with plenty of storage space then this won’t be a problem. Blankets are easy to keep with other bedding.

Towel

Keep a towel by the door to the living area in your campervan so you can wipe off any mud quickly and easily to avoid too much cleaning.

First aid kit

A well stocked first aid kit and a selection of medicines can really help you out in case you get sick when you are away. The last thing you want to be doing is driving around looking for a pharmacy when you come down with a stomach bug in the middle of nowhere. Keep basic medicines and all their instructions and use-by dates in your campervan and replace anything you use as you go.

Road atlas

Smart phones and sat navs are all well and good, until they run out of battery or don’t register the post code. An up-to-date road atlas won’t let you down when you’re lost. Stick one in the glove compartment, you never know when you might need it.

Information

If you know where you are going take a list of basic local information with you, to save you time and effort trying to find it in an emergency. A list of camp sites, GPs, local hospital, local garages with mobile call-outs etc can be very useful if something goes wrong on your trip. It means you don’t have to try and find internet signal to look things up.

Disposable barbecues

Disposable barbecues don’t take up much space and are great for all sorts of places. Put a couple in your campervan ready to use for when you find that perfect spot to spend the evening.

Bottle opener

Not having a bottle opener can really ruin a good bottle of wine. Make sure you always have one in your campervan.
