3 Frequently Asked Questions About Campervan Conversions

A white letter i on a red backgroundAs a company specialising in campervan conversions, answering a vast array of different questions is a standard part of our job.

Some questions are relatively basic and we answer them regularly, whilst many others are more specific to an individual and their requirements.  Whatever they are, however, you should never be afraid to ask them and you can always be confident you’ll receive the most in-depth (and easy-to-understand!) answer possible.

Whilst we’d strongly recommend you get in touch if you do have a question, today we want to provide you with answers to some of the most frequent questions we get asked, as we know a lot of our customers enjoy doing their own research – and these three questions are undoubtedly some of the most notable we answer.

1.  Can I have a three piece suite / American-style fridge / four-poster bed in my campervan?

Although there’s no doubt you can have more facilities in your converted campervan than you’re likely to first realise, you do have to keep a sense of realism about the project at all times.

Any converted campervan can be built to your specific needs and requirements and you should be able to have all of the functionality you require within it, but it is important to remember you only have a certain amount of space and as such, your idea of an integrated six-seater dining area might have to be scaled back to a fold-out table.

2.  How much will the campervan cost?

A lot of people instantly think that because a campervan conversion is built to your needs, it’s going to cost a small fortune.  Well, the good news is, it’s likely to be a lot cheaper than you first think.

At Cascade Conversions, not only do we work to create a campervan that’s suited to your needs, but as much as possible we aim to suit it to your budget and so although we can’t say “any campervan conversion will cost you x amount of pounds”, what we can say is there’s no reason you have to spend more than you want – or need – to.

3.  How long will it take to carry out the conversion?

Like the cost question above, the answer to this is very much relative to the individual, as it all depends on just what you’re including within your conversion – the more there is to do, the longer it will take!

At the start of every project, we provide all customers with an expected completion date, which will be the quickest turnaround time possible.

And unless you’re coming to us on a Friday afternoon and expecting to pick up your converted campervan on Monday morning, we’re certain you won’t be disappointed with the timescale provided.

We genuinely do our utmost to offer the highest quality service we can at Cascade Conversions.  From the moment you first make contact to well after you’ve taken your finished conversion away, we are completely confident you’ll be happy with every aspect of the service we provide – and that includes answering any questions you may have!
